The following must be taken:
Students choose 80 credits of optional modules. Language module selection will depend on how many credits have already been achieved at level LI, as students must complete 100 credits or more of Language modules by the end of their degree to quality for BA Classics. Optional modules Students may choose ONE 20-credit LH Professional Skills module if not undertaken at Level I. Optional modules All optional lists are indicative; not all modules will run each year depending on staff availability. Optional modules Students with A-Level Latin: Optional modules Students may choose ONE 20-credit option in Semester 1 and TWO 20 credit co-requisite Special Subject modules AND LH Latin Texts OR Students may choose TWO 20-credit options (one from each Semester) and TWO 20 credit co-requisite Special Subject modules OR Students may choose TWO 20-credit options in Semester 1 AND LH Latin Texts AND LH Greek Texts OR Students may choose TWO 20-credit options in Semester 1 AND ONE 20-credit option in Semester 2 AND LH Greek Texts Optional modules Students Without A-level Latin Optional modules Students may choose ONE 20-credit option in Semester 1 AND LH Greek 3 AND LH Latin Texts and LH Greek Texts OR Students may choose ONE 20-credit option in Semester 1 AND LH Greek 3 AND ONE 20-credit option in Semester 2 AND LH Greek Texts OR Students may choose ONE 20-credit option in Semester 1 AND LH Greek 3 AND ONE 20-credit option in Semester 2 AND LH Latin Texts OR Students may choose ONE 20-credit option in Semester 1 AND TWO 20 credit co-requisite Special Subject modules AND LH Latin Texts OR Students may choose TWO 20-credit options in Semester 1 AND LH Latin Texts AND LH Greek Texts Optional modules. Language Module List:
Students choosing a Special Subject must choose two co-requisite Special Subject modules (one per semester) to the value of 40 credits from a range of options that will vary from year to year depending on staff availability: CAHA Special Subjects B: Students may also apply to undertake a Professional Skills module at level H. If successful this will be taken in place of one of their semester 1 taught modules. The placement can be taken either during the summer vacation (part-time or full-time) or during semester 1 (part-time only). The placement must be completed prior to the Christmas vacation. Students who undertook a Professional Skills module at level I will not be able to undertake a Professional Skills module at level H.
